What is this service?

This service monitors internet connectivity in Iran using Cloudflare's Radar API. It checks the status every hour and provides real-time information about internet availability, traffic levels, and connectivity patterns.

How does it work?

Our system uses Cloudflare Radar, which analyzes internet traffic patterns through Cloudflare's global network. By monitoring HTTP traffic from Iran (location code: IR), we can detect when internet connectivity is normal, degraded, or completely blocked.

Status Indicators

• Online: Internet connectivity is normal. Traffic is within 30% of baseline levels from the previous day.
• Degraded: Internet connectivity is reduced. Traffic has dropped by 30-70% compared to baseline.
• Offline: Internet connectivity is severely limited or blocked. Traffic has dropped by more than 70% compared to baseline.

Status is determined by comparing current traffic volume to a historical baseline (same hours from the previous day) to detect outages and connectivity issues.

Data Sources

All data is sourced from Cloudflare Radar API, which provides insights into global internet usage patterns. The data reflects traffic from end-users (not bots) and is normalized to show percentage distributions.

Update Frequency

The service automatically checks Iran's internet status every hour. You can manually refresh the status at any time using the refresh button above.

Privacy & Accuracy

Cloudflare Radar provides aggregate, anonymized data and does not track individual users. The confidence level indicates Cloudflare's certainty in the data quality, with 5 being the highest confidence.
